We specialise in hand-held industrial grade markers and chalks for industrial applications. We are Asia's largest & most popular manufacturer for marking instruments and tools developed specially for textile, metal, plastic, construction, welding, automation, and oil industry.

History

Century Inks Private Limited established in 1985, has been involved in manufacturing packaging ink and later shifted to manufacturing dye-resist textile markers. It is a family owned business with exports and presence in over 35 countries. Our flagship product, Century Tex Marker®, is the most popular brand in the textile industry all around the globe. With continuous R&D efforts over the years our team has developed a wider range of cost­ effective marking instruments and devices with speciality inks to cater to a wider industrial base. Some of our new products include pump-type markers, valve action paint markers, chalks & household laundry markers. We are among the very few manufacturers to produce automated pump-type markers in the world.

Infrastructure

We started operations three decades ago with a small factory based in Mumbai. With growing demand and the intent to expand capacity we shifted to a 20,000 sqft factory with a production capacity of 3 lakh units per month. Most of our critical parts of our devices and our specialty inks are developed in house using automated machinery to adhere to our high quality standards. With the help of our strong R&D team we have been able to instate vigorous quality checks to test our products for durability, efficiency, accuracy and long shelf life while ensuring that they are ergonomic & convenient to use

Research & Development

With a strong inclination to the Kaizen theory & lean management we have initiated an in-house R&D team with a fully equipped laboratory within our factory premises. As an organisation we are always striving to innovate our inks & devices to cater to our clients and develop new products to cater to specific industrial needs. Some of our recent developments include specially developed inks for the metal industry, high temperature inks and chalks.

Our director Omprakash Mantry has been in this business for 30 years and has immense experience and knowledge in marking instruments and devices. With the help of his expertise, Century Markers has grown exponentially in the industry registering a steady year-on-year growth in revenue in the past decade. Our strong ethics & commitment to loyalty is showcased with strong (decade old) relationships with several distributors around the globe. Our core management team includes several employees who have worked with us for over 20 years helping us achieve great success, accolades and growth in the industry. Our aim is to become the largest manufacturer & supplier for all types of industrial markers & instruments in Asia by 2030.
